Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one of the wealthiest and popular Reggae artists. He starred in the classic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix), and Sensimelia. All of these helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani performed with Praswell of Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997, which was a hugely hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was first seen at the Cameo Theatre in Miami in the Midem Theatre. Midem. Marley performed a set live in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley found himself in a bidding battle. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997, where he recorded the collaboration with label friend P.M.
